This lively tarantella is written in the key of A minor and 6/8 meter. Students will enjoy the energy of the 16th notes coupled with legato and staccato articulations and hand-over-hand crossings. A wide range of the keyboard is used, including a glissando and the highest and lowest A. Melodic and rhythmic sequences in the right-hand melody coupled with blocked 5ths and 6ths in the accompaniment make this solo easy to learn and exciting to play!
